A while ago, we went on a break to focus on tailor made locations for our co-living communities. The work has paid off and the design of the first locations has started. Sign up to learn more and join in designing the first locations.
The city of Vantaa has reserved a plot for our project in the cozy and urban Puu-Kivistö district. In addition we are applying for a plot from the city of Helsinki and forming communities to the locations with our founding members. As a founding member you are prioritized in tenant selection and you can participate in design, community formation and decision making. Design and community formation for the first locations is estimated to happen during 2019-2020 and moving in around 2021-2022.
We have also formed a superior specialist team with new partners. Our development partner LiM Living in Metropolises is the first European-wide housing cooperative. Our design partner is Berlin, Helsinki and Vienna based tafkaoo architects, whose affordable housing projects have been awarded for sustainability and communality. We are currently in the process of selecting our interior design partner. The team has a unique approach for developing high-quality co-living locations and at the same time solve global sustainability challenges.
